Your Favorites – Sir William

Name: @toastcmu (or Sir William Trost IV for those who listen to 360 vegas)

Favorite hotel:

Bellagio – maybe because I stayed here first, but I always have loved the whole package here.

Favorite casino:

Golden Gate – found this place on my 2nd trip and always pay them a visit! The dealers are what make it here, I’ve never had an unpleasant experience.

Favorite restaurant:

Julian Serrano – the tapas and paella here are excellent – and the tables allow for people watching at the same time

BillAir

Go to game:

Blackjack followed by Pai Gow tiles – Learned tiles from the wizard of odds himself!

Vegas cocktail of choice:

Scotch on the rocks – Chivas regal or Macallan when I can get it.

What is your favorite Vegas memory to date:

I have many, but to pick my best memory was hanging downtown on Fremont for the Brett Michaels concert as part of VIMFP – realizing there are many people who share our passion/addiction for this place which has something for everyone, in my opinion – whether it’s entertainment, gambling, food, or just touristy stuff.

Any tips for other Vegas fans?

While I am a planner when it comes to trips, the best kinds of trips are those in which plans get thrown to the side and you go explore something new! I would also remember to pace yourself as these trips are marathons, and not sprints, even for those short trips.

If you can rent a car, go to Valley of Fire state park, it’s well worth the drive!
