Use Hilton Honors Points To Book Stays at Virgin Las Vegas

Virgin Las Vegas is set to open March 25, 2021. Because the property is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, Hilton Honors members can use their points to book rooms at VLV and receive benefits from their Hilton Honors status when booking.

The first available day for point redemptions according to the Hilton calendar is Wednesday, April 7th. Rates for point redemptions are variable with Hilton, so as the room cost fluctuates, so will the points price. From a quick glance, weekday rates range from around 31,000 – 37,000 for the next quarter. Weekend rates jump to anywhere between 48,000 – 70,000. Interestingly, I was not seeing a resort fee charge when I booked with points while logged into my HH account, nor when I tried a cash booking in an incognito tab.

VLV is now added to a growing list of options for Vegas fans with a stash of Hilton Honors points. Gamblers can burn their HH points at Tropicana, Elara, Waldorf Astoria, VLV, and Resorts World when it finally opens.

I’m a big fan of the Hilton Surpass card and with sign-on bonuses ranging from 125,000 to 150,000, you’re looking at potentially 4+ reward nights if you find a sweet spot on the calendar.

VLV may be off the beaten path and their casino loyalty program, Mohegan Sun’s Momentum, has no partner properties in Vegas, but it’s good to have another option for points and miles enthusiasts in Vegas.
